G.I. Joe: The Movie (1987) Screening Giveaway  

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.   

GIVEAWAY PERIOD: The Giveaway will begin at 9 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) on September 10, 2024 and end at 5 p.m. PT on October 20, 2024 (“Giveaway Period”).  

ELIGIBILITY: Open to persons who are legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec), the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia, or the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland only) (collectively, the “Territory”), who are at least 18 or the age of majority or older in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is greater, and who are Skybound Insiders with a valid email address on file. If you are not a Skybound Insider, becoming one is free. All Insiders terms apply. Employees of Skybound, LLC (“Sponsor”), its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate families (parent, child, spouse or sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related) of such individuals are not eligible to enter or win. By participating, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules, the Insiders Terms of Use, and Skybound Terms and Conditions (both incorporated herein by reference) and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are binding and final on matters relating to this Giveaway. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.  

TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GIVEAWAY: During the Giveaway Period, visit https://insiders.skybound.com/gi-joe-screening and follow the directions. If you have/once you create an Insiders account, enter the secret code “GIJOEONE” at the top of the Activities page. Limit one (1) entry per person. Participation by any means that subverts the entry process set forth herein will be void. Entries can only be submitted once and cannot be sold, bartered, traded, or auctioned. Entries generated by script, macro, or other automated means will be void. All entries become the property of the Sponsor.  Participants who validly enter this Giveaway will receive 500 Insider points.  

GIVEAWAY WINNER DETERMINATION: Potential winners will be selected in a random drawing held on or about October 21, 2024 from among all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period. Twenty (20) potential winners will be selected at random from Skybound Insiders who registered to become Skybound Insiders prior to September 10^th, 2024. Ten (10) potential winners will be selected from new Skybound Insiders who registered to become Skybound Insiders on or after September 10, 2024. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. 

Potential winner will be notified by email with instructions on how to claim prize and must respond within the time period specified in such notification. Potential winner may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and, where lawful, a publicity release within the time period specified in such notification. If, and as applicable, such documents are not returned within the specified time period, prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, potential winner will be disqualified and forfeits prize and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate potential winner may be selected in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries received. If, after three (3) attempts to award the prize, time permitting, the prize remains unawarded, Sponsor reserves the right to not award the prize.  If Sponsor does not receive a sufficient number of eligible entries, Sponsor reserves the right to not award any prizes. If a resident of Canada, the potential winner will be required to correctly answer a time-limited, skill-testing question without any assistance in order to be eligible to receive a prize. Failure to answer the question correctly will result in the prize being forfeited and, at Sponsor’s direction, an alternate winner selected from all remaining eligible entries. If Sponsor does not receive a sufficient number of eligible Random Draw entries, all Random Draw Prizes may not be awarded.  

PRIZES:  Two (2) G.I. Joe: The Movie (1987) Screening tickets per winner (Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): USD $21.14 each). Total ARV of all Giveaway Prizes: USD$1,268.40. The movie screening will take place at AMC City Walk, located at 100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA 91608, on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. PT.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m. PT.  Prizes may only be utilized by the winner plus one guest. Identification will be required from winner and guest at the screening door. 

Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer a prize or redeem a prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize with one of comparable or greater value. Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, provincial, state and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes), if any, as well as any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided, including, but not limited to, any duties. Winners are responsible for all costs and expenses associated with traveling and accommodations to and from the screening. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Win Limit one (1) prize per person.   

PUBLICITY GRANT: By participating, participants (except where prohibited) consents to the use by Sponsor and its designees of their user name, state of residence and/or likeness and prize information for advertising, promotional and other purposes, in any and all media now or hereafter devised, in any manner, worldwide in perpetuity, without notice or compensation or permission.  

GENERAL CONDITIONS: Participants, by participating in the Giveaway, release and discharge and agree to indemnify and hold harmless, Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, and related entities, and advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective directors, officers, partners, employees, shareholders, representatives, and agents and all others associated with the development and execution of the Giveaway (collectively, “Released Parties”) from and against any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind (including death) to any person, or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in the Giveaway.   

Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, stolen, misdirected, undelivered, entries, emails, or other communications of any kind; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Giveaway, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Giveaway, the announcement of the prizes, the functionality of the game, or in any Giveaway-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's cellular phone, or any other device, related to or resulting from participating in this Giveaway or downloading materials from or use of any social platform.  

Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Giveaway, who act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Giveaway for any reason, including, but not limited to, should any portion of the Giveaway be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries. If terminated, Sponsor may, at its discretion, award the Giveaway Prizes using all eligible entries received up to time of such action or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor, and award all Prizes from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received up to time for such action or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor.   

IF YOU ARE A RESIDENT OF THE UNITED KINGDOM THIS PARAGRAPH APPLIES TO THE EXCLUSION OF THE ABOVE UNDERLINED PARAGRAPH: The Released Parties shall be liable for damages caused by culpable injury to life, body or health. For any other losses or damages of any kind that result from acceptance, possession or use of any prize or from entry or attempted entry into the Giveaway, entrants agree (by entering the Giveaway) to release the Released Parties from any and all liability whatsoever unless the damage to the entrant is caused by gross negligence or willful intent of a Released Party. The Released Parties are especially not liable for defective prizes, unless such defect or is caused by gross negligence or willful intent of a Released Party. In an event of slight negligence, the Released Parties shall be liable only for breaches of a material contractual obligation (“Cardinal Duty”). A “Cardinal Duty” is an obligation whose fulfilment makes the implementation of this Giveaway possible in the first place and on the fulfilment of which the entrant may therefore generally rely. Liability in case of breaches of Cardinal Duties shall be limited to the typical, foreseeable damages.

WINNERS LIST: The winners will be announced on the Insider site following verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these Official Rules.
