The Eisner Awards -- named after the late, great cartoonist Will Eisner -- have long been recognized as the Oscars of comic books. So we're thrilled to report that Skybound has just received no less than five nominees, plus two additional shared nominations, for the 2024 Eisners, to be presented at July's San Diego Comic-Con! Including Daniel Warren Johnson (for Transformers), Tillie Walden (for Clementine Book Two), Chris Samnee (for Fire Power), and Martin Simmonds (for Universal Monsters: Dracula). Here are the official details...

Skybound creators and titles received these nominations:

Best Continuing Series: Transformers, by Daniel Warren Johnson (Image Skybound)

Best Writer/Artist: Daniel Warren Johnson, Transformers (Image Skybound)

Best Writer/Artist: Tillie Walden, Clementine Book Two (Image Skybound)

Best Penciller/Inker or Penciller/Inker Team: Chris Samnee, Fire Power (Image Skybound)

Best Painter/Multimedia Artist (Interior Art): Martin Simmonds, Universal Monsters: Dracula (Image Skybound)

Additionally, Russ Wooten received a nomination for Best Lettering, which includes his work on multiple Skybound titles:

Best Lettering: Rus Wooton, Monstress, The Sacrificers (Image); Fire Power, Kroma, Transformers, The Walking Dead Deluxe, Universal Monsters: Dracula, Void Rivals (Image Skybound); Hunt. Kill. Repeat., A Legacy of Violence, Nature’s Labyrinth (Mad Cave)

And Dave McCaig was nominated for Best Coloring, which includes his work on The Walking Dead Deluxe:
